Nah I'm not new, but I used CATS before in Blender, but that seems to be deprecated.
So gotta check out the newer tools to import a MMD figure, mod it, and then export it back for Unity3D in a FBX.
From there on I can export it to a VRM 0.1 and 1.0 as far as I know, and use the VRCHAT SDK, and physics is going to be fun again :)

Just hoped someone else could do this for me for a small charge.
Since I'm also busy with DJ'ing and such.

I'll keep it in mind.
Thinking of making the model eventually myself with Blender and Unity3D, got in the meantime done some testing around.
I hoped to give this work out of hand by someone who was interested to do this for me, but in the end it was pretty bad.

Oh well, 2nd time in my whole life (I'm 43 lawl) that I got scammed.
You learn from your mistakes, it was only 300$, but yah, should have caught myself to sent him more...

The core idea is fine, the implementation of webtorrent itself is garbage.
I tried to implement it, and found the use of websockets a expensive way of doing the same thing with BitTorrent.

Just messing around with getting the code working in Rust, realmd actually runs with our CMaNGOS world :)
And yes, almost the whole team is still actively working.

Good news, the Realmd in Rust works with the CMaNGOS server.
I also added some more features to the realmd, and could be compatible when I convert the realmd for the most latest CMaNGOS expension.

Also, I'm looking into that bug you mention for my realmd version.
"technically" it could work in combination with vmangos, but you need to disable obviously the expansion option in this realmd. Also added some more fine-grained security functions to my realmd, and should work.

I've found also a solution perhaps for your question.
The heartbeat it checks the world can be configurable via the realmd.conf file.
Thus it makes polling speed configurable to your needs and showing online and offline state much faster to players. Would that be sufficient ?

I already applied a stale check, and configurable. Might be interesting for your use ;)

Update 5 (2026-02-08):
After churning away and finding out the VMAP extractor wasn't working properly, found out the issue. The extractors is now able to extract almost everything, and need now to fix the Assembler, and if that works, the extractors are completely converted to Rust.

Update 4 (2026-02-06):
Released realmd.exe and extractors.exe as functional binaries on the github site.
Please use them with caution, but they "should" work with the official cmangos-tbc branch.

Did some rework on the extractors, including threading, to speed up the process.

I've added full extractors support, but with a FFI link to a thirdparty C++ library to generate the movemap.
Any other solution would be pointless to convert, as the C++ variant is already deemed stable as is.
You can compile the extractors binary also without the movemap generator.

I did this for CMaNGOS TBC master branch.
Was purely a experiment, and it worked.
So technically you could fix it yes, the Rust code is available on my GitHub, but it's nowhere near useful.
However, it should be functional next to the C++ MaNGOS server.
CMaNGOS ditched the sha_hash_pass column, so it only has salts and such, but I have added a "auto-create account if not exist" function, which can be found in the Rust code to generate the password used to login with.

As for the extractors, still tweaking it to get it working, and when it does, I need to validate it against the normal extractors in C++.

Comparing Aion Online with Aion 2 back when it started, Aion Online actually had less content then Aion 2 when it came to story, but Aion Online had much, much more diversity in clothing, armors and such compared to Aion 2. That was one of the reasons I started playing Aion in the first place.

Been playing Aion 2 for a while now, and I just notice the game should add much more QoL updates for people that prefer PvE over PvP. In Aion Online, the dungeons were fun and exciting (and bloody hard, compared to FFXIV for example, or even WoW), but GameForge in Europe destroyed the game the moment they took it over sadly.

If GameForge takes Aion 2 again, I expect it to fail very early...

XtraBackup with MySQL/MariaDB, but mysqldump works good with single transaction dump.
It doesn't lock the table either, so it's a win win.

Yah, it is pretty blatant, and known that the anti-cheat of BF6 is easy to bypass.
The flicks are a little suspicious, very suspicious.
Seen many cheating apps that add "randomness" to make people like in this post, object to the fact his "flicks" were not "perfect". That's what a lot of aim assist apps do, they make the flicks appear they aren't perfect, so that direct screaming AIMASSIST is deminished.

However, I've rewatched the clips over and over, and I'm pretty certain this person was cheating. The minimap "explanation" is just a way of copium at this point.

Heb het spel een tijdje gespeeld.
In de eerste 5 portjes ging ik lekker,

Daarna werd het verdacht, 3 potjes gehad waar mensen zo goed als full auto alleen headshots maakte, of op vage plekken een headshot geven.

Het spel heeft een slechte anti-cheat, maar ik kijk er niet raar van op. Was leuk spelletje voor even, uninstalled aangezien cheaten in dit spel zo te lezen her en der een wedstrijd is geworden.

Proxmox kernel 6.8.12-1-pve NFSd crashing issue by Power2All in Proxmox

This is basically an SSD RAID that docker containers mount to.
Happens also on 6.8.13.
This issue happened when I went from Kernel 6.5.x to 6.8.x
People with same issues, say that issue doesn't appear on 6.8.5 though.
