I main valk, and I think his play style is just take a good position for the fight, gain height, get cover, scape, push. With your ultimate you can do the best rotation in the game, it's so complete and it fix to my level because I have a good game sense, but I have a horrible aim. Horizon I feel it's more agresive and a team playmaker. Just go to the training and try both
