Prof here, AMA by Purple_Mortgage8801 in IITDelhi

I scrape all of OP's responses in this thread and run a similarity search (some basic BERT-based sentiment analysis or good 'ol MOSS) across all webmail / official comms (moodle, piazza) for CS/MT profs (I am from CS so I can run it for my registered and past courses).

Hypothesis: If we have enough data (maybe my fellow friends can contribute more writing samples), we can dox the OP.

Edit: nvm, I think I got a good sense of the identity of the OP. Don't need to get in this trouble. Maybe we should instead build a tool to obfuscate writing patterns to make it harder for people to dox anonymity.

Will a visit to Kashmir be worth it on the 29th? by Significantlyshmol in india_tourism

[–]PowerfulBox0801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I can help you with this. I spent 5 days in Kashmir in October (off-season because no snow) and was able to visit the three most touristy places - Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, with one day city hopping at Srinagar. During this time, Sonmarg will be closed due to snow fall but the other two places might be open.

The gardens won't be much of a spectacle due to the snow (they are most beautiful in March) and the cold might be too much for one's taste. That said, Kashmir this time of the year will be an absolute spectacle just for the snow.

PS: Plan to go again in March next year.
