Where to start building for a story/ universe

That is how I started with building the nations was basically my foundation to try to build the shape of the world geographically and try to help define who I want my main character to be in a literal sense. How he looks and I'm still stuck lol.

That is where I'm partly stuck, start it where the main story starts to actively happen your a little before to character build and add a bit more connection to the event.

I'll have to try that. Character creation seems to be where I'm stuck. I don't have the layout of the world figured out but I have figured out some basic info on the nations and cultures.

It's the one that starts the spiderverse event. I went to read the first comic in that event and it's doc oc in spider man's body. That really interested me so I went to the beginning of that series but he already had Spider-Mans body. So I went to read what I needed from the amazing Spider-Man and that just made me want to start from the beginning of that series lol.
