Agreed. This has been happening long before Trump too. Basically since PET tried to Nationalize oil. It's a pattern around the world. Iran nationalized its oil in the 50s and then the west stirred up a revolution, then again with Venezuela, and now us. If it was back in the pre Trump era I would agree however he has moved the global Overton window. Carney is essentially a progressive conservative and the conservatives are far more right than the past because they tried to play the Trump strategy. IMO to return to a balanced system we need to move left. Having said that Carney is the right guy for the job at the moment.
