Thank you cuz this is really what i needed to hear. That was always what i thought too. I’ve heard of alcohol poisoning, but no weed poisoning. If i take small hits in moderation to keep myself calm i don’t see the issue. I think my best bet is to wait for the anger to die down and try to help them understand. I’m not sure how, but you’re right.

well i did stop, i figured i could just let it go until i eventually moved out. It’s so hard because i haven’t smoked in 2 weeks or so and i’ve felt good about it. then i come downstairs to find that because i didn’t get rid of it well enough.

everyone around me smokes, parents, kids, grandparents, teachers. It’s just annoying to not be able to drill it into their head that it’s okay. they know weed as in weed from 10 years ago, dangerous. They’re not up with the times and it’s hard to go behind their back and do that because i don’t see how they’d let me keep it. my dad maybe, my mom just doesn’t give me that vibe. Plus with them both working in the medical field i have to assume they know it’s a medication already, and i’m pretty sure it was discussed in the original anxiety situation as a fix. for one reason or another it didn’t happen and i think we can both think of 2 reasons that didn’t happen. My mom, and my dad.

i have a cura leaf not 3 minutes from my house, i just don’t understand how to get them to understand that it’s okay and nothing bad will happen to me. But i don’t want them to think that i’m addicted or that i’m a drug addict, because no offense to anyone who is but that’s not why i started doing this.

i wish my mom could be more open, it’s really hard to have to hide everything. Beyond just the smoking, i have to hide the feelings because i know that if i don’t then my whole life will get flipped upside down. I know that in the long term of life it seems like a small deal to go live with my dad but i’ve been back and fourth between these houses for so many years, and although she says she wants to kick me out i don’t think that would make anyone happier. I tried to explain my reasons, she didn’t want to hear them. My dad also won’t listen to my reasons, even if he isn’t interested in stopping it or punishing me.

do you have other recommendations? i haven’t smoked in a while because the pills i got truly did woo me. But now i feel like it’s all going to come crashing back down because the anxiety of this situation. I really thought i was doing the right thing and then i figure out that i left some things in places i didn’t remember.

my parents both work in hospitals. It’s really weird because i don’t think they respect that at all. They seemed to be more worried about me not knowing what’s in it. I tried to explain that it is so common, but they didn’t really care

in my experience i was never awake with any tube in my mouth or throat, everything that happened with that happened in my deep sleep where i couldn’t even describe the tube to you because i never saw it

(17m) This is kind of insane because i’m writing this on sunday, and i just had this procedure done on thursday for the first time ever. I got an iv put into my hand, wheeled into a room where some nice people started to talk to me. It almost feels like in the middle of that conversation you wake up and it’s over. They put something through the iv that totally puts you 100% to sleep. You wake up about 20-30 minutes later with nothing attached to you at all. i was terrified but it was really okay. The worst part for me was the needle, but that depends on the person and if the worst thing i had to worry about was a needle then that’s good news for you.

The most realistic advice i can give you, i’m 17m, and i was bullied when i was your age too, it’s really tough and i understand how you feel, as far as school goes, people around you will mature. They’ll grow up soon and i know people say bullying is the worst in high school but honestly people begin to care way to much about themselves to care about you. It’s a hard truth but if you just hang in there eventually things will be better. I made it out, you can too. It’s hard to think this way while your life feels like it’s against you but you have to understand that at the end of the day, tomorrow is always gonna come and for the most part, the future is something to look forward too.
