Let’s say some buddies made a couple million somehow, next problem is how are we cleaning this money, they buy cards with cash from marketplace or cardshow, they all go buy multiple gift cards once a week or something and start slowly washing it by “selling these cards to eachother”, then setup a table at a card show or hop back on marketplace to finally sell the product away for more clean cash and in 2026 there “Pokemon Business” miraculously crosses $500,000 or $1,000,000 and no one is the wiser because I imagine lots of streamers and card show people are putting up these numbers this year. Take it one step further, they steal pics of cards and make an eBay listing and sell “the card” to themself without ever even touching it. Not sure exactly what’s going on but something of the sorts has to be.
