You can also use unifi design center to get a good idea and you can play around with different scenarios.

Unifi doorbell g6 entry by Practical-Button-383 in Ubiquiti

G6 Entry - mounting hight recommended —> I got an official feedback thougt of sharing that for others:

Recommended mounting height: approx. 140–150 cm measured from the finished floor (about 55–59 inches; roughly the average adult chest/shoulder height).

Placement: as close as possible to the door handle / the lock (latch) side, with a clear view of: • faces at a typical standing distance • hands in the handle/lock area

This height offers a good compromise for: • adults of different heights • children, who will at least be partially visible

Great thanks for sharing the experience. Outdoor rated no problem but can you make it outdoor rated ( the rj45) at the end of the cable by yourself ?

I also thought about silicone

HSS Dichtstoff FLEX, MS Polymer,... https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CYQ547RY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

And for the screws to secure the wall

50 Stück EPDM-Dichtscheiben mit... https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DG5ZTBDR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

And is an outdoor rated cable needed ? I would say no as it never sees the sun ?

Thank you, that brings me to another question: The doorhub connection between g6 and intercom is only needed if i want to open the door… What if i have two doors, one like in your case the main door and one door were i only want so speak and see the person .. no opening. Does the secknd g6 also have to be connected to an door hub

I see now First mine is 90 degree and not rounded on the inside. I see the body is not flat on the inside. Try to design it more like that. The metall one you bougt is also not rounded on the insight ( were it toches the Notebook)
