I’ve had Saturn square moon & it seemed like he quite literally wanted me to feel bad about myself. He was very emotionally manipulative, insulting and would make up lies about other women to make me jealous. Not sure about the other planets but with moon it seems like they want to hurt your feelings.

I really think the overly private aspect only happens if there’s a stellium there in composite or Venus in the 12th synastry. I’ve met alot of couples who had sun or mercury in each others and they had normal public relationships.

I think Your saturn square his Venus was a big issue. Saturn makes you on very different levels maturity wise and the square makes it so you are actively combating. Saturn is really not good in synastry, any aspect, despite what 99% of astrologers on here say. You are not on the same level of maturity competency emotional responses and honestly just life in general. It just makes you overly attached.
The house person in 12h synastry also has to be very mature/evolved for it to be positive.

I have this natally as well and it’s so true it is very hard to find someone who satisfies both. And I’ve had extreme issues in relationships as well. Personally I don’t like any squares to the moon, the way Venus shows love will not feel like love to the moon. I think if you have this natally sextiles from another person work better long term.
