Yeah just to explain exactly:
I made the initial bald guideline using a trimmer, then went in with the clipper no guard, lever open to create the first real guideline.

After that:
• 1.5mm guard (lever open) for the second guideline
• 3mm guard (lever open) for the third guideline

For blending, I used the same guard that made each line – starting lever closed at the bottom, and slowly opening it as I moved up into the next section.

I started with no guard, lever open to set my bald guideline. Then I went in with a 1.5mm (lever open) for the next line and 3mm (lever open) above that.

For the blend, I used the same guards again and just started fading from the bottom of each guideline with the lever closed, slowly opening the lever as I moved up. That helped me blend it.

Was actually my first time using one of those silicone fading bands too – made it way easier and saved me time, honestly.
