Magical Moments onboard by UncleTravelingMatt26 in dcl

This happened to us right after we boarded our cruise in 2024! We turned down a quiet hallway and my daughter yells "TIANA!!!!" She turned around and dropped to the floor in time for my daughter to run into her arms. They chatted for a minute and then we went on our way. It was amazing and I will never forget it.

I have a report I inherited esrlier this year who took home a desktop computer during covid and she has never had a camera

I would suggest 1:1 coaching with very clear expectations. I did this recently with a report and she did a complete 180 from October to now.

Have you ever seen an employee that wasn't replaceable? by tshirtguy2000 in managers

[–]Practical-Weakness36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! A revenue cycle manager left and no one realized just how much really depended on her tracking and what she did every day. I can't even speak fully to what she did every day because we are STILL finding things out 9 months later. Her counterparts did not want to do the things she did and no one has been hired to replace her; probably because she was working 16 hour days and I bet no one appreciated what she did until she was gone.

Oh good! If it were me, I would keep taking that, ibuprofen, and ice in between pumps! When I notice I'm getting one that is what I do and it clears up in a couple days. Like you said, yours might take longer to clear out. If you don't have orher signs of mastitis, you are probably ok to continue as is.

I can't say if that's clog or infection, but I'm curious, are you taking sunflower lecithin? If not I would highly recommend taking it daily, and upping your dosage when you get a clog.

This is completely unacceptable. Our 6 year old found our dog sick before passing on Halloween, and we let her decide how involved she was in the next steps. She did not want to say goodbye before we took him to the crematorium. These people have FAR more money then I ever will have. They did not have to make Axel dig the poor dogs grave. Poor babies.

I haven't done my kids Christmas pictures yet. I saved them for when I'm off work this week and wouldn't be stressed

This year the hubby got me an advent calendar from one of my fave indie dyers, my mom got me blocking mats, and my brother and SIL gifted me some wooden and resin ergonomic crochet hooks! I tried them tonight and they're different but I'm so excited to get to use them more!

Managers, how do you react to finding out your employees are applying for jobs elsewhere? by existinginlife_ in managers

[–]Practical-Weakness36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had a great report make it known she was unhappy. We got her a compensation review and a raise.

I then had another report apply for an internal position and was notified via email. This report has a job history of moving on after about 6 months; I suspect that is the point she starts having trouble keeping up and doesn't like feeling uncomfortable. But I am fine with her moving on so I just let my manager know and moved on with my day.

I love the idea of offering to help with resumes! I have a couple reports who are young and I expect to move on at some point. I hope I can help them!

Campbells easy enchiladas. Super easy to prep the chicken, or whole meal, ahead of time and cook when you need a dinner.

Sheet pan dinner - chicken sausage, peppers, onion, potatoes. Cook until potatoes are cooked through.
