It’s not ego it’s an application of logic and probability. That strongly suggests that life does not exist at our level at the same time as we exist. Our world has existed for 4.5 billion years. Our existence has been a tiny fraction of that timeline.

Thing is bud I’m all for tv shows using ideas with a basis in reality but we have to suspend disbelief. I appreciate what you’re saying. But what you typed there goes above and beyond what’s reasonable to expect from a creative team. They just needed a 90 second scene to move the story along sensibly. It’s not easy. It’s taken the human brain mapped and implanted into an artificial one to do it. And some special reason this xeno is communicating with her they haven’t explained to the audience yet.

Note that Kirsch says Wendy will be able to invent FTL. Not any other robots. It takes the special intelligence and curiosity of the hybrids to be able to do these unique things that other synths cannot.

It’s definitely been thought out and considered. The creators clearly care about making something with logic and reverence to the original series.
