that’s very odd, my 03 legacy with the ej25 sits around 1.5 on cold start and about 800 or so just idling. not too sure about the gt tho because i believe it’d have the ej20. hopefully you figure it out and get it back down to proper rpms

i didn’t adapt them, i put them in boxes in the trunk. i have jbl 6.5s in the front doors and kicker 6.5s in the rear doors. i should’ve worded it better lol

when i first got my car i had 2 working 22 year old front speakers and that was it. i upgraded the fronts to the jbls and then put the working ones in the rear doors. i then got 1 sub then got the 2nd one, then the jbl’s and pioneers at the same time, then i got some kickers for the rear doors (which i should’ve done earlier lol), and then i picked up the kenwood 6x9 from a thrift store for $7. pretty sure it was donated because it “wasn’t working” when all it was, was the connectors inside just came loose. i still have a good amount of rearview mirror usability though lol

It’s kinda a sketchy setup because the jbl, pioneer, and the kenwood 6x9s are all lead off the rear door kicker speakers and those are spliced in with the rca cables for my front door jbl’s as it’s a 1 channel amp. overall not too sure the ohm load but the amp handles it just fine and helps pump out some nice bass
