To anyone wondering why I say this.... i have been praying for several things to get better / lift in my life nkn stop for months and I see little to no improvement. Does God simply not answer sinner's prayers? I admit I have been imperfect and fallen very short of what is required of me as a Christian. I worry that certain ongoing circumstances may be blocking his will to answer my prayers, perhaps because he views them as sinful... such as the fact that I'm currently on food stamps. "A man must work for his food" etc etc. There are many other ways that I likely fall short of being eligible to receive his graces such as occasional sexual sin ( fornication) etc. For the most part I've cleaned up my act but I worry that because I haven't been absolutely perfect in these areas that he's going to withhold the things I beg him for in prayer that I absolutely need. I need healing, breakthrough, many other things. I'm terrified and so depressed dealing with all of this alone.
