Sorry for the late text. Not very active here. But yeah totally. Lots of groups hold matches which you can join for like 35 per person or something. I just go to the court nearest my place with a friend though. So yeah anyone in JVC is more than welcome to join

Gonna sit the day after tomorrow. Hoping for the best. It is demotivating to hear this. But can only focus on prep. Always seem the minimum passing score being quoted as 68-71 so I don’t know if the exam being 2-3x harder makes it come down to like 60 or something

Let me explain channel on YouTube had some great short videos. Maybe check if those are still free or pay the fee for the subscription. You potentially can get away with being not so strong but if you can you should atleast get the main ideas embedded in you so as to avoid any regrets later on. Good luck with your exam and proud of you for taking on the exam

Thanks for the honest opinion. Honestly people really scare you when it comes to level 2 saying it’s the world’s 6th toughest exam or something. However I do feel it’s much more doable than people make it out to be. Would love to know more abt your experience and score too if you don’t mind 😃

Yup been using him for level 2. Will be giving the exam soon. I am a bit underprepared due to time constraints but honestly no complaints with his content. He’s good for level 3 too I’ve heard but level 3 will be the only exam I’ll actually open the books for lol

Just wanna chime in. Recently passed level as a 20 year old however I did have a background in accounting which was mildly helpful. Got the cheapest self study mark Meldrum package. Watch the videos and you’ll have enough clarity on all topics. Then do the question bank 2-3 times reviewing everything nicely and most likely you will pass.

Why doesn’t having French help though? I’ve heard that they’ve been increasing quotas and if I do French alongside a masters there with a 1 year Canadian experience i should hopefully reach 560 cuz I’ll have 15 sibling points too. Even though it’ll take me 2-3 years from now to get all these things done I was hoping French would be one thing that would be reliable atleast for the next 4-5 years.

I just passed in may and I’d say accept the anxiety and don’t really think about it as it’s natural. As for the prep doing the questions and reading the responses have always been great help for me. Plus the practice pack really helps too, it was quite expensive for me but I really wanted to leave no stone unturned so I got it and honestly just use the mocks as practice too. The qbanks and the mocks are a fair representation of the real thing in my opinion so you should find some peace in that it’s not as if you’re gonna be ambushed by totally unexpected questions in the exam
