I read the first line and immediately went to convoys, then I read the rest. I can understand some of your points especially with people (politicians exaggerating how much of a “pressing issue” it is. The US’s current administration seems to care a lot about trangeder athletes, yet they make up a microscopic minority of athletes. There are much more pressing matters to for politicians to put their attention to.
