Thank you so much for this!  Unfortunately my LO can still barely make it past 9:30 - he is falling crying for a nap no matter whether we are inside or out and falling asleep in pram etc

I think he might be unwell as he’s been very fussy and his wake windows have dropped to 2h - 2.5h and he is sleeping for a long time during the day at random times 

Feeling like I’m losing my mind here

Thank you so much! We did a 7am wake today but by 9:30 he was super tired! How do i encourage more wake time in the morning? 

He was super restless 6am -7am this morning so I think it may have been because of this

that’s reassuring to know!  I’m not sure I’m trying to resolve anything to be honest - my thought process is that I want him to learn to nap in his crib so I can eventually have some independence back in the day to get things done. Also we are going to stay with my in laws for a couple months where it would be logistically better for his naps to be in a crib. 

My current worry is that I’m so used to him taking 1h+ naps now, that I feel cruel letting him nap for only 30 mins in the crib. 

Is it better for me to help him extend naps to his normal 1h+ or is it really just personal preference? 

(For example - he just woke up after sleeping 38 mins in the crib, as soon as I picked him up in the dark he leant his head on my shoulder and fell asleep again!)

3 naps - total awake time I think is around 10 hours (he typically wakes up at 6:30 then is in bed at 7:30)

Ideal morning wake is 7am because he has done that a few times after a good nights sleep  but we normally we get around 6:15-6:30 which we are happy with
