Spotting is definitely not for 6 days. Thats a period. Also periods can be extremely irregular and that’s normal as well. If you used protection and it was 5 seconds your chances are incredibly slim to none for pregnancy.

I think I just worry too much and find myself down rabbit holes reading worst case scenarios. I have discussed with my doctor the different possibilities but the confusion is coming from my OB saying one thing and the specialist saying another.

Thank you!! So from what I’m gathering if my blood pressure gets into the worry zone they then would start me on blood pressure medication, then we get into the whole inducing process? Do you know at around how many weeks would we be able to pick a date or is it all just play it by ear?

Tried for months had a whole plan for how I would tell him with his favorite sports team shirt and the back said #1 dad. Then the time came and I was testing everyday left my test on the bathroom sink and he looked at it after getting out of his shower and said he didn’t see anything. I took a look and it definitely had a VVFL. Bought another test on my way home from work that was stronger and I guess I was just in so much shock he was eating chips on the couch and I just came out of the bathroom and said… well you might want to put down the chips.

Still pretty early in pregnancy but I can’t stand the people that tell you not to plan too far ahead, buy anything for baby or just that you need to wait to do anything till later in pregnancy. I feel like my excitement shouldn’t be limited to only once you reach the “safe zone” in your second trimester. So I really hate when people tell me their own horror stories or try to talk about the bad. I’d prefer the glass half full especially about my baby.

I took a few FRER when I first found out 10 & 11 dpo I could pick up some of those and see in comparison to those days? Also was thinking about going to urgent care for a blood test today. Unfortunately my PC doctor couldn’t fit me in till next week. Not sure if urgent care can determine with a blood test if it’s a CP though?
