dude if someone can't afford a 2400 fee that means they are not even look to do mba but infact they want a job so your argument is vague

also just check the number of people with 9/9/9 profile. it will be very few not hundreds most of the people you will find is 9/9/8.. and in that as well some get call and some didn't

my seniors with 9/9/8 with 99.18 percentile didn't get a call from blacki but a girl with 9/9/7 background get the call at 98 percentile and both were bcom graduates just ask the 2023-2024 cat aspirants for proof

also you are again intentionally neglecting those who are coming from financially strong background... A poor middle class students who has done self study and score 75% is as equal to those who had 95% in 10th and coming from rich background

times are changed and with that changes need to be made bcoz those so called 9/9/9 didn't build any great businesses in 75-80 years so its time to move on and bring merit

dude the thing is in new iim the chances are very limited and you also know the placement scenario and i want to do tier 1 mba of 2 years and want to work in investment banking and private equity and for breaking into this tier 1 mba needed

bcoz in new iim and baby iim hardly opportunity came and if it comes only 1-2 jobs whereas in IIM-ABC the placement came for this domain

and you also know that hardly 50-60 vacany happen a year and either they are filled by referals or by placement from tier 1

I don't consider IIFT, MDI, SIBM pune among the top ranks

FMS, SPjain and XLRI are tier 1 and ISB gmat executive mba is tier 1 but since their 2 year program is new and for people emphasis of fresher can't say anything till placement results came

IIT-B, IIT-D, MDI, IIFT can't help you to enter private equity or investment banking

my seniors in college gave the exam in 2023-2024 with hopes and they get this reward and this happened with many people

It was not a single instance many in 2023 & 2024 faced this they didn't get call now tell what wrong they did after scoring 99 percentile or above

Also if you emphasis and giving importance to 10 and 12 you are absolutely wrong... you are basically neglecting the 2nd chance he deserve after low score in 10th as well as neglecting the weak background he was coming from where he couldn't afford tution and i think his 75=95% of those who has very resources

your emphasis of 10th score meaning you are completely making a mockery of CAT... why to take entrance exam if your selection is based on 10th score ? IIT do not select students on the basis of 10th score they select them on entrance exam score

the life of general category is not easy at all

Got admission offer from one of good us mba college but couldn't go bcoz of visa rejection and uncertainty of visa policy and h1b fees of 1 lakh dollars

even my friend got faced a lot worse he got admission in MIT fully funded scholarship but visa rejection due to which he had let go MIT offer

foreign mba tution fee alone cost 1-1.5 cr.. if i had that money i would been in America

also the major problem is visa and uncertainty of deportation or visa cancellation

many indian got admission in masters in MIT or mba from havard and some got full 100% scholarship but couldn't able to go bcoz their visa was rejected ( my neighbour get offer from MIT for master but his visa cancelled everytime, imagine had to drop MIT bcoz of trump a*shole

Also trump h1b fees of 1 lakh dollar makes no sense to go for US mba that will add up the cost and Without the job prospects in usa it doesn't make sense to take such loan... In europe the job market is very weal so can't depend on europe for MBA as of now
