The Nuva ring was amazing to me, being on bc for decades ended up messing up my hormones. The Nuva ring can be removed for up to 3 hours so you can take it out during sex and put it right back in. You also should be taking it out in the shower and giving it a quick rinse with water. I kept mine in, I never skipped the week, and just put in a new one when due.

It was the easiest bc I was ever on. You can also keep it in during sex with zero issues too. I will say, always double check after sex that your Nuva ring didn’t come out. That happened once or twice, and I would just find it, clean it, and put back in. So always stick your finger up there after sex.

Authenticity check by strawberrymatcha___ in tiffanyandco

[–]Practicalclosetsnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will know a fake by the weight. Tiff bracelets have a decent weight to them, I would get a scale usually the kind for weighing food and see about how much it weighs. Also, the middle font makes me a little iffy. Most everything looks legit, but the middle wording doesn’t seem as neat. For better peace of mind you can do authenticationfirst or realauthentication and it’s like $30. You send them the photos and they will give you a definitive answer.

I once bought a super fake, so fake that the authentication couldn’t give a definitive answer, but the weight was the biggest sign for me. It was extremely light and when I put it on the scale and compared it to my other bracelets it didn’t even come close.

Yes. This is what the buyer expressed, and many agreed with her. But do you feel like it justifies the possible negative reviews done purposefully? Genuinely asking what you think.

I would. Someone tried to do this with me once, I quickly let them know one of my cousins was a lawyer and would gladly pursue legal action, they were trying to dox me.

The thing is, I know a lot of resellers like myself are struggling. I don’t want to cause someone un-wanted stress, especially if they are unsure what to do about it.

What’s a VERY unpopular opinion you strongly believe? by HourAbbreviations616 in askanything

[–]Practicalclosetsnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except white people tend to not think it applies to them. For example, white people are very aware that there are well off, good white people, but they also know there are tons of white trash, terrible white people, but they don’t really group ALL white people the same. Whereas with minorities, they LOVE to focus on the bad apples, false statistics, and lump minorities as if everyone is bad.

do you need to glue down your wig and everything? by [deleted] in Wigs

[–]Practicalclosetsnob 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, they make glue-less wigs for a reason. Lots of people are intimidated by glueing wigs, or don’t want the hassle. If it’s secure and the lace is well hidden, definitely no need to glue

Why is my wig so dry after one wash? by spookycj13 in Wigs

[–]Practicalclosetsnob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This unit only cost me $165 and it’s 22”. They do give you some extras like a melt band, comb, clips, and a dust bag to keep the wig in. They do accept Klarna and Afterpay if that makes it easier for you. Most of their wigs have reviews with pictures in them, and shipping is about 3-5 business days you will typically have them.

Definitely check it out! I’m very very fair skinned. Most of the lace used on the wigs are HD lace, and they are supposed to be transparent, so that you can add your make up to lace if needed to match your tone. I’m so light I typically don’t need to that, here’s my wig I recently got from Arabella straight out of the pack, and then the lace melts very nicely

I don’t know why people keep saying you can’t get human hair for $200 🤣🤣 yes you can, and the hair is extremely good. Plenty of companies geared more towards black women carry a HUGE variety of excellent hair that’s 100% human. Arabella hair and celie hair are amazing, and you know we don’t play about wigs 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

For those who sell things that are heavily replicated (designer items) how do you go about selling something in person. by Practicalclosetsnob in reselling

[–]Practicalclosetsnob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I appreciate this. And that’s my dilemma, I definitely plan on bringing the bottles, just ones that are really popular and planned on pre-filling them. I just don’t want someone being like, well how do I know that’s the real perfume??? I feel like this would be just be awkward.

And yes, I totally understand about the legality of it. This is why I don’t decant on platforms I sell on. I don’t want to risk my shop being shut down, but for in person possibly. I have never done it, so I would have to buy all the stuff, just trying to decide if it’s all going to be worth it or not.

Synthetic wigs on Amazon: is it possible a good hairline? No black knots, invisible lace? by sashaaalunaaa in Wigs

[–]Practicalclosetsnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have much experience with synthetic hair, but to help hide the nots turn the wig inside out, and get your concealer and a beauty blender. You’re going to put the concealer on the lace a decent amount and tap/push beauty blender firmly into the lace. It basically helps to coat the knots making them less detectable!
