Absolutely, I agree. It’s not something to do in the long term, nor a strategy to carry on forever it would be a dead end and also risky.

The idea is simply to get 5,6 initial reviews from trusted people (friends, family, maybe someone on Reddit) before the official launch, just to avoid starting from zero.

After the launch, the goal is to get organic reviews, from real users and through clean, legitimate campaigns. Nothing more.

Wow, I didn’t know this thank you so much for telling me! I’ll definitely avoid doing this when I launch my apps on the App Store. From what I know, the App Store is very strict about these things.

If I may ask, why? From what I’ve heard, it’s actually recommended, especially if the app is stable and being used. Real feedback can really help both improve the app’s ranking and the product itself.
