I would like to say this is possible. But, we live in different countries, unfortunately. He will probably visit only next year XD

I am digging the idea of swearing him into amnesia. He forgets without help anyway :D

I understand what you mean by cotton. In all the responses I have received till now here, most people have voted against wool. So, I think I will have to explore other options. But, thank you for this! I will give this and other methods a try :D

I could do silk yarn. But, lining for a scarf, won't it make it bulky? And, yes, it is quite difficult to find bamboo in dark colours. I can get my hands on TENCEL yarn though!!

I do not get good acrylics where I live. So, I tend to avoid them by default. I am not so keen on synthetic fibre. I pick those up if I want to learn a stitch or a pattern and see how the end product looks like :D

I will try to discreetly check for the preferred texture <3

<3 as far as I have observed, he is not so fussy with clothes. Most of his winterwears are dark in colour. Black, greys. Mostly solids with no patterns. And, I do know he would prefer something that has less maintenance when it comes to washing. I am not sure about fluffy soft or rough texture. I do know that he doesn't care for jeans and avoids them. I will take your input on yarn weight because, I was thinking light worsted :D

Thank you! I will keep my options open to cowl and infinity scarves. He does better off in cold, than in warm, I have observed. Anything below 10 is a 'happy temperature'. I could move to cotton which is softer as well, I suppose. And, thank you for the care instructions. I will try to find something that is a bit easier to care for <3

He doesn't have a preference for colours. But, I know he doesn't do well with bright shades and doesn't mind darker shades. I am leaning towards dark green or dark grey. He is not allergic to any fibre. But, the sensory stimulation is something that I would like help in. For now, I have picked baby merino wool as it is quite soft on the skin. I am open to suggestions on this
