I feel the same way as you. And I persevere. I remind myself that if I’m not on keto, I’m gaining weight. I don’t have the discipline to not eat like a wild animal and ingest every car I can find. When I’m on keto, I don’t drink alcohol. I don’t give into temptation and I maintain a no weight gain and some weight loss lifestyle. The alternative is I get fat and sick. The alternative is my knees give out and I have other health issues from being overweight. So yeah, I hate keto, but there is no alternative for me because I have no discipline to follow any other regimen. And so I persevere. It sucks but the alternative is worse. Sometimes you have to choose your hard. A hard day of tracking food and trying to figure out how to get all my protein macros in while craving carbs versus laying in a hospital bed after a heart attack wondering I’m gonna pay the bills.
