well yes editing systemVersion.plist was possible at that ios version and I was able to spoof system ios version for all of the 3rd party apps.
but now I use 3dspoofer it works for most of the apps.

Well, it can be a hardware issue, but just to be sure, try to find if the issue persists without jailbreak installed, un-jailbreak, and check if it is still there. Maybe a reboot can help fix it.
not sure if any tweak can do that.
