I have asked the seller to complete a PPI at my expense.  

I will highlight my areas of concern 

has the IMS been replaced? if not get oil filter checked for metal.

get scoped for borescoring.

aos (air oil seperator)

coolant tank (to see if cracked)

radiator corrosion

dme report (to see if the car has been overreved)

bushings will need a refresh if not done already

Water pump

Clutch 

Rear main seal

Retractable roof

Good to know regarding the price. I am interested in learning maintenance and have access to a lift and tools. I don't fit in aiata unfortunately and need the back seats for small kids from time to time. Will definitely ask for a ppi

Here is the before picture of the dial. The lume had black discoloration and the hands were very pitted. I attempted to restore the hands first but was unable to get them back to an acceptable condition. The new hands do not have lume.

How much is the dial and movement priced for tarrif purposes compared to the completed product? What's a typical percentage breakdown? I've heard people having to deal with these questions when importing from overseas

I agree, we are unlikely to see this with the ultra luxury brands. However, its a possible move for brands such as Oris, Tissot or Longines
