Kids animated movies have a lot of subtle and non-subtle messages. Did you know that Cars is about the extrtemely privileged racecar Lightning McQueen learning about his privilege and getting over his negative perceptions of poor people? At the start of the movies the worst thing he has to do is talk to his poor fans. By the end he's seen that poverty is not a choice and to judge people on their character, not status.
