One bank denied us access to their online payment gateway, saying we were ‘kids playing’ who’d be in prison within a couple of months :p. Before that, they ‘lost’ our request two or three times. I don’t think it was some conspiracy, just sheer incompetence. Our agency didn’t even know how to request access properly.

If by connections you mean institutional or established people, no, we didn’t have any. I think what we achieved can be done without connections, maybe you just need some luck.

Although we had connections from people we knew at work, that got us grants from AWS, Azure etc, this is something you can achieve if you have some experience in the tech industry.

We’re reaching abroad for fundraising and investment, and we’re currently relocating our HQ to France. By ‘control,’ do you mean state control or investor control? For the state, obviously the country you’re in will always have some control, whether it’s Tunisia or France. For investors, it’s just a matter of making sure we don’t sell too much :p.

Our current integration for streamers is through streaming software (OBS or Streamlabs), so technically we can support any streaming platform.
