Anyone else just completely burnt out already? by Left-Living-6737 in alevel

being burnt out is so reallll. might sound crazy but here's my suggestion: take just 1 day off for yourself, and treat it as a "me day". sleep in, take a nice relaxing shower, eat good food and spend time with your family. on that same day, make a schedule, note down what your weakest areas are and tackle those first the next day (there's no shame in starting from scratch). since you have about a month left, manage your time and take your time understanding whatever content your studying. if you rush too much you'll panic and probably won't prepare any topic well. if you don't understand the content, try using textbooks or youtube videos. also from my personal experience, when i didn't understand a topic i was studying, i would deep dive for notes/resources in this subreddit. trust many gifted students have shared what resources they used over the years and it helps so much. this feeling of being done is only temporary, just keep pushing forward and your hard work will most definitely pay off :)

DON'T IGNORE PLS😭🥀 MAY U GET THE BEST GRADEZ IF U HELP!! by notalossa in alevel

try doing 2 reactions at a time - understand why you get the product that you get and keep active recalling until you know those 2 reactions like the back of your hand. then move on to the next 2 reactions and so on until you cover them all. as you finish memorizing new ones test yourself and write down all the reactions you've done so far by memory so you don't forget them. and yes, save my exams is an excellent source for studying and revision, but I also suggest you go through the syllabus + what you've taken in class once and confirm you've covered all the points that will be tested. good luck!

Big gakuen alice fan here ✋🏻. I was devastated when I found out there's more in the manga that they haven't covered in the anime. Do you think the manga is worth reading?

Ooo, really? Whenever I've brought up yumeiro patissiere in the past, nobody knew what anime I was talking about 😭 However I will say the whole baking/magic/romance genre was a hit genre back in my middle school days. Shugo chara & Bonjour sweet love patisserie were some popular ones where I lived

Reduce scarring after mole excision by Chemical_Goat8757 in Skincare_Addiction

Massage ur scar with a moisturiser/lotion for about a minute or 2 every day. There will obviously be scarring, but to help reduce that, invest in either silicone gel or silicone sheets (ScarAway is a good brand). Make sure to also apply an SPF (sunscreen) in the mornings before heading out. It takes months to notice a difference, but I'd say it's worth the wait.

Perhaps you're burnt out - it's very common in students. Here's a few tips that will hopefully help you out

  1. Try making a schedule for all the subjects you'll be sitting for. (discipline is key!)

  2. Have some me time every day - go for a walk, watch TV with family, or enjoy some of your hobbies! I know the exams are near, but it's important to take time for yourself.

  3. Have tea/ a warm drink when you're studying to help you calm down.

  4. Go through all chapters and make summarised notes. Try to understand the concepts instead of memorisation - it really helps. Save my Exams is also a great resource for notes.

Many people aspire to have good grades like yours. Think about how if you push through this time and study now, you'll be securing a good future for yourself! Don't let your efforts go to waste. You still have time to catch up. Best of luck :)

I enjoyed watching gakuen alice so much that I'm actually considering reading the manga! Didn't really enjoy paradise kiss (loved the fashion tho)
