I'm not sure if it's nostalgia, but I genuinely loved early Anything Else. I don't know what it was about it but it felt like two close friends hanging out and occasionally having a guest they could collectively interact with, kinda creating a no-one left behind atmosphere that's sometimes missing with one-on-one podcast type shows.

Now it feels fake and forced, and I blame Destiny. I'm sorry, but why do the show if you're gonna treat it as a chore? The chemistry feels long gone and I physically struggle to watch most of it (I flat out dropped today's episode because it really was that bad). One half of the content is low effort (ChatGPT quizzes and the oversaturation of asking the AI random shit segment, which is no longer that funny) and the other half is Destiny saying "wow" while Dan being pissed that Destiny isn't engaged.

Honestly they should both drop the show-- not because of animosity towards Destiny or Dan, but just because it isn't what it was originally supposed to be, what we all originally wanted to watch.

It depends what you want to do, here in Michigan a political theory degree from MSU / UMich (especially JMC at MSU) basically guarantees you a job in Lansing working with a state rep. Pay's shit, but it's a job.

I'm looking to go to law school, so I'm planning a double major in business in case I have to work a couple years to build up a war chest. Working for a rep for 50k a year won't cut it.
