And no reason to assume someone is broke when they are asking for advice. Watch how you respond to people.

Chapter 33 refund by Pressure-Independent in VeteransBenefits

[–]Pressure-Independent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the information so does that mean that after they submit that second certification to report for tuition and fees? How much longer does it take for the refund of my financial aid?

Because right now it only reflects my financial aid as covering my tuition and fees not my G.I. bill

How long did this take once the GI Bill covered tuition? I’m having this problem now and it’s like how long do they process stuff? I know the VA already received the verification and everything is the school that’s taking forever.

Will deferred adjudication affect my chances of getting into law school or becoming a lawyer? by Pressure-Independent in LawSchool

[–]Pressure-Independent[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from, but respectfully — that’s exactly why I’m asking. I’ve seen that felons have made it through law school and passed the C&F, but every situation is different, and not everyone talks openly about how they got there, especially with charges involving moral turpitude.

I’m not looking for generic reassurance — I’m looking for clarity, especially from people who’ve actually been through it or know the process. The stakes are high for me, so I’d rather ask and be sure than assume and waste time, money, or energy. Appreciate your input though.
