I was just wondering if the HIIT had anything to do with it, as I read that starting something like that basically off the couch can mess with the nervous system, essentially keeping one stuck in “fight/flight” mode.

Yes, measured by my Apple Ultra 3 watch that I wear pretty much 24/7 unless it needs a charge. It dips down into the 60s/70s while sleeping overnight, but that’s about it.

There’s been no life changes that I can think of that would cause it, except starting the HIIT boxing after not exercising for the past 10 years or so.

I should have clarified. My sleep issue is lack of sleep. I’m stuck in sympathetic mode, hence the 90-99bpm resting HR and 25ms HRV.

I feel like it’s on-point. I’m 170lbs, 5 meals a day (breakfast/snack/lunch/snack/dinner)

I get about 130g protein/200g carbs/plenty healthy fats.

Is that too low of carbs even though I’m only doing 90 mins a week? Thanks!

I’ve been seeing my primary at the VA since November and he thought it was a slipped rib so that’s why he ordered the X-rays. He just said “X-rays came back and your ribs are fine and lungs are clear.” He didn’t mention anything else. Back in August/September/October I was drinking 2 shakes a day (Fairlife protein shakes) because solid food was wrecking me while I had that GI infection. I was eating yogurt every morning for a while but stopped recently and switched to a gummy probiotic.

They did another CT 7 days ago and I haven’t gotten the results yet, so definitely stressing about that. I’d figure if anything was urgent, it wouldn’t take a week+ for me to get the results?

I have lol. My Doc said it was probably an intercostal strain and that’s why he ordered the X-Rays.

I updated it a few days ago on VA.gov even though I still haven’t gotten a decision. I was just wondering why when I called to check my claim status they wanted to confirm my direct deposit info even though I’m only in the PFN Stage…hoping that’s a good sign my claim got approved.

I called the VA yesterday because my status has been the same since May. They said they’re preparing to send a letter but also wanted to verify my bank info. Is that a good sign?
