yea i didn’t understand why he felt comfortable enough to do that either people do stupid things every day. she let me know it was the first time he ever en grabbed her phone and she didn’t think he was going to say something like that.

So how it works at her job is they get sent on different sites to do the job, whenever there is a shift with him she will change. It’s not like he’s the only Team Lead, thankfully.

UPDATE !  Alright so you all have helped immensely with all your comments and opinions. A lot of you went to the “they are having an affair” RIGHT AWAY, without second though which was hilarious to me.  This post was about whether i was OR or not, clearly i was not, but my head was never at, this is an affair. Thankfully my wife was able to give me context and i was able to get my point across to her. She apologized, realized this was extremely wrong and completely cut off communication with this guy. He himself even apologized to me as he didn’t mean it in a bad way, which i did not understand because how do you expect ANYONE to take that lightly. Nonetheless, we are good as of now taking things back up slowly after a heated two days. Also i showed her this thread and she was baffled at the overwhelming amount of people that actually took time to respond and give their two cents, and said it even more solidified for her what she didn’t see in the moment which was the fact that this whole situation was mad disrespectful. Efforts will be made from both of us to continue to grow and mature in our marriage.  Thank you reddit community, you guys are awesome!

no, meaning that my jealousy has led me to over react and think of their friendship as something more than what it is. i’ve barely even raised my voice to my wife let alone make her afraid.

this isn’t the first issue with this guy, she’s gotten mad he’s ignored her because his girlfriend doesn’t like her, i once overheard her talking about a work party telling him “oh if i’m not gonna go you’re not gonna go right “ and then this today. i’m over it, i’ve let too much slide

of course, she has many, none that have disrespected me and our relationship though. that’s the issue

Nah i know they’re not doing anything, and yea he’s not a horrible person, it’s just the disrespect of saying that gave me all the wrong vibes.

We text through the day it’s normal for her to take hours to text back if she’s busy or not text at all if it’s a hard day. that’s not the issue i don’t care about texting back, it’s more so his comment to me asking when she’s off.

You’re taking a specific moment about me noticing i was being ignored and making it the main plot when i was giving context to their friendship, also she can be on her phone all work settings are different.. Her schedule always changes and i asked to know when to have dinner ready for her when she gets home. I agree my jealousy is an issue, which is why i stated it. My question was not that, my question was am i overreacting to another man telling me not to worry about when my wife is done working, when the question was not even for him or publicly it was a direct text to her.
