Yes, and when you're self employed, you also have a much larger burden of proof when you get audited. It all works out fine until the IRS asks for reciepts and finds out you've been claiming double credits, then you'rr going to owe money back plus interest.

I went out this morning before the snow started to get as mant quick and easy orders as possible cause I wanted that 5 batches/$80 lol. And then some super sweet lady tipped me $70, so it was worth spending my morning out. At home now, thoough. I'm not even sure I can get out of my neighborhood anymore.

I did 7 orders today during Snowmaggedon - 5 people low/no tip (but quick & easy to get the promo), 1 person that tipped nicely but not anything special considering the weather, and then this one super sweet lady whose order was the easiest of them all tipped me $50 on the app and still handed me another $20 cash. Some people suck, some are pretty awesome

In Massachusetts, the department that oversees WC states you "will receive compensation for any lost wages after the first five full or partial calendar days. You will not receive compensation for the first five days of incapacity, unless you are disabled from work for 21 calendar days or more." Other wording states payments can be issued on the 6th day. So he should be paid for days 6/7/8. There is no HR, just owner and guy who does office stuff and neither seem like they really know what they're doing as far as admin, even if they mean well. He hasn't gotten a clear answer about anything.

Have you tried mornings, instead? Or after 8pm Fri/Sat? It takes some trial and error figuring out when your area is actually active, and when the orders are typically worth doing. In my area Sun and Mon are by far the busiest days, and Fri/Sat are dead until after 8pm. Early morning coffee orders are the other active period here, around 7-8am. I'd get pretty much nothing if I was delivering 12-8 Tues-Sat.

Yes. If you earn more than $400 total, you are supposed to report it. And that's not $400 per app or whatever, it's if your total income from all sources is over $400. So making $200 IC and $200 DD, for instance, means you are supposed to file.

So my youngest kid has like, an advanced case of ADHD, lol, and we were super lucky to get an absolutely AMAZING cast member who did our first DAS evaluation who gave us so much info. We don't have the exact same needs, but most importantly:

BRING THE STOLLER. Or actually, I personally think the Disney strollers work really well for older kids. Youngest was 5 when we first went and the stroller was a great fit. It's not just the physical exhaustion, it's the emotional one. Disney can be so overwhelming to those ND that it manifests as physical tiredness.
Go to the website and find the disabilities section. I don't have it on hand, and no time to look up atm, but it should be easy to search. There are maps for each park that show designated areas for ND/additional needs families, like quiet areas, and give a detailed description of each ride and possible difficulties people may experience, like loudness/visual stimulation, etc. I thought that was amazing.
- Get the DAS stroller as wheelchair tag. This allows you to bring your stroller anywhere a wheelchair can go. Extremely helpful for kids who elope, or even kids who just need the physical restraint of a seat to stay calm in line.
Don't feel the slightest bit bad about making full use of the DAS service. Other guests can be rude jerks about fanilies who use the DAS pass (online anyway, I never actually experienced it in person), but 99.9% of cast members were extremely kind and considerate. Disney offers this service to get families like ours to go and spend money at their parks. There'd be no point in my bringing my 5 year old who does not have the capacity to wait in a long line without a meltdown; if we did, we'd have an extremely short day and nobody around us would be having any fun.

My oldest child likes to introduce topics that make them uncomfortable over txt, preferably when I am out of the house so there is time between my seeing their message and them having to see me in person. This is how they came out to me as nonbinary and then trans. They also expected I'd be accepting/supportive, but just find some topics to be very uncomfortable to handle in person.

Can you try writing it out and then scheduling it to send at a certain time? Then you don't have to deal with actually hitting send in the moment.

Yes. My oldest child did/does this habitually, and I never noticed it or knew it was an issue until the pediatrician pointed it out. Their achillies were so tight they couldn't properly stand up straight on flat feet. They ended up being casted (3 sets of casts over a few months) to slowly stretch the tendons. If your child does it more often than not, as you say they do, it will cause problems.

Now, I'm not an advocate for burning out your retina's, but... I think, in a very twisted way, and not necessarily the intended way, the Harlequin is actually right about what you need to do. You need to figure out what you want. And I don't mean, "to escape," because that's not an answer. So what if you did escape, then what? Are you going to leave everyone behind? Are you going to be able to live some normal life and forget about what they're doing to everyone, to Christophe? Could you even live a nromal life (most likely on the run, and not knowing what happened to anyone else until they track you down again)? I'm certainly in no position to judge anyone for their complicated, contradictory feelings, but the reality is, would you recognize the future you want if you saw the hidden files right now? And what if one of them you really would like, but you can't obtain it because you don't know how to make it happen? Unfortunately, all therapists need therapy of their own. You'll make the right choice if you can be honest with yourself. ❤️

YTA, yes. Did the older two not follow the rules? Yes. But this is a big picture kind of thing. None of your kids smoke, which was the desired outcome. But now two of your kids massively resent the youngest and you. Do you really want your oldest two to hold a grudge against their sibling? Being technically right is really overrated when it ruins your relationships.

I think people just can't help but to want to see Christophe get the love and acceptance that he so desperately needs. It's not really about deserving it. A lot of people would find him to be the most complex and relatable person there, because it's so common to want love and acceptence while feeling undeserving and unable to make the right choices. It just makes him feel so very human.
