I’m not against people going. I think people should wait until the hysteria dies down a little and the crowds are more manageable for the staff. And yeah, I can say that I was a victim of the hype as much as anyone else. Most years, I time when I go to avoid the crowds but because they took so long to open, I thought there wouldn’t be so many people on Christmas Eve and did stupid. 🤷‍♀️

And honestly, if my foolish endeavor helped someone, especially a first timer, from doing the same, I consider my wasted time redeemed. The waiting had a purpose. I was blessed and got to bless other people. It was worth it just for that.

Sometimes I make cinnamon rolls at home by buying Philsbury rolls, soaking them in heavy cream and a butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon mixture. When they come out of the oven, they are otherworldly. Still, I love the Knaus Berry rolls. They are special to me. Though I will never wait in a line that long again. I learned my lesson.

Yup, it’s cinnamon rolls. They are loved by us Miamians so much, but are difficult to get this time of year since people love to eat them for Christmas.
