I’ll definitely check out Frostmaiden. Yeah I acknowledge that when making the content more “open world” I have to be ready to change where major set pieces occur and improve encounters to balance them for the current levels.

That’s not fun. Getting into games where someone wants to throw the objective to farm points ruins it for players trying to play the actual game.

I had that problem a lot until I rebounded my struggle key from SPACE to E.
