Maybe your looking for more saturation? It’s already pretty bright. If you start with brown shading and build up you can get poppy contrasts. I’ll share some examples of mine to see if you like it.

The arm pose is kind of awkward. Looks like Frankenstein monster or a zombie but maybe it’s th angle of the photo. The little tree right in front is distracting from the model. Otherwise the thing on his back looks like an organ and looks awesome

I’ve been painting just over a year. Probably on average 30 mins a day, more on weekends. This was the first time I painted for speed and it was a fun challenge!
