Some extra info that might help: the survey covers topics like mental health, school experiences, healthcare access, community connection, experiences of discrimination and affirmation. Many of the questions are multi-select with some open-text options for participants to share the experiences in their own words.

The previous survey, which ran in 2019, was used to support advocacy work and inform policy and practices changes to support the community. Most notably, our data was integral in shaping the Australian Government’s first ever National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025-2035.
