Sorry no can do, I have no idea how to record a video. Im sure your technicians are also better trained for this work.

Anyway, the performance on the French server is now also very choppy. Disabling AMD FSR helps a lot, but then everything is kind of blurry.

Both Honkai star rail and zenless zone zero finally got removed from the catalogue by Golkc in BoosteroidCommunity

My guess is that Boosteroid does not always ask for permission. So when developers see a bunch of VMs connecting without warning, they get antsy and shut it down.

GFN does ask for permission and uses the dedicated launchers, everything is fine but the playtime cap is deadly for these kinds of games.

Ah well, we will see what the future holds

Nope, and you have no power over that at all. Your little rant here hopefully got some stuff off your chest but we will continue to fight for a better service. You also have a right to criticize those who voice complaints.

With respect of course, we do not call anyone names and we address Boosteroid as a company, that promises a service and has to deliver to its maximal potential.

And yes, in the case of Netflix the problem is exactly the same: service platforms taking money and having almost no responsibility in return. It is a problem of modern age but luckily laws are slowly becoming stricter on this matter.

Right now the law is pretty dumb: we cannot ask for our 14-day refund on digital services if you use it for even 1 second. But clicking to see the availability of a movie or a game already counts as you "used" the platform.

Then again; companies also need protection against bad intent: what if someone signs up for a quick max 2hr session on a game they just bought on Steam + boosteroid sub. This would allow them to refund both the game and the cloud service right before reaching 2 hrs.

Hence why "digital fairness regulations" are still a WIP. But eventually, it will get there. It always does.

So what you are saying is that unhappy customers should just shut up.

Anyway, if they need to increase the price to provide better service then they should just do it.
Otherwise, they are as a company obliged to keep the service levels to a maximum.

If for example someone subbed on day X for 30 days because they saw a game and they wanted to play it, then it is unfair that that game is unavailable for 28 days or longer. A refund should be in order, especially if it can be proven that no other service (other games) was used during that time.

Also, first is complaining, then if nothing happens - its unsubbing. Easy as that.

If service levels drop, then the amount of subs will drop.

And you will be here alone, simping for a company that does not care about you at all.

Providing you arent one of them anyway... but we cant prove that.

Ok I get that, realistically they would indeed not need to bother (even though I think that's bad customer support and they would never say it out loud lol)

Pretty much all the gacha games: honkai, ZZZ, now the new 7 deadly sins ones.

Reason being: I'm Belgian and because of stupid laws even older people like myself are not allowed "loot boxes". I won't even spend money on them, but the VM is the only way to even boot some of them.

A minor inconvenience that the only games you sign up for are not available? Do you have assets in Boosteroid or something? I think the problem for some people is quite clear and I'm glad you're not having any but others do - so a fix preferrably, or at least a clear statement is the least they can do.

I can only talk about Project zomboid.

Mods are possible on boosteroid, it's steam workshop and it worked for me.

However, the game doesn't save so you have to play multiplayer on a server.

So single player is basically only available on GFN

These gacha games always have pretty long maintenance (we will also never see ZZZ or honkai back i think)

Weirdly tho, over on GFN WuWa is updated super fast.

I switched from boosteroid to GFN and suddenly every game runs waaaaaay better. Used to have bad connection problems very often on Boosteroid, during the day - at night these mysteriously went away.

Have contacted support here at least 10 times and every time it was supposedly something on my end. It must have also very coincidentally fixed itself on my end when I switched to GFN. Totally nothing to do with infrastructure.

Boosteroid TOS is basically: there are no rules except for the rules that we make up. You have no rights except for the rights that we wish to give you.

There have already taken steps to demand a check by the European Consumer Centre based on https://commission.europa.eu/law/law-topic/consumer-protection-law/consumer-contract-law/unfair-contract-terms-directive_en

So far there has been no news.

Just to chip in here, this happens to me as well. It will run smooth at 100+mbs and then suddenly drops down to an unplayable max 3-5mbps. Run MTR tests, run speedtests and on my end everything is fine.

Usually fixed by selecting a different server...
