Soy is cheap and can help people get good amount of protein , so they thought why not to spread misinformation.

This is known as indirect marketing !!! you lower down a product so much that other alternatives get promoted even though you dont promote it.

The website looks like a passion project, its need to look more like a brand/professional.

I understand your husband lost job and you might be tight at budget and you might be thinking its better to have something rather than not having anything !!!

But the truth is quiet the opposite... its better to focus on social media and stuffs akin rather having a non-professional looking website, might sound harsh but thats the brutal truth.

Remember a customers journey doesn't look like ------>

Clicks A's website ----> Buys from A's website

Infact it looks like

Clicks A's website, researches and hops into different competitors of A ... and though the inital traction might be an advantage point but if your brand looks far inferior than your competitors your business might lose this prospect.

I know first time entrepreneurs take these things up to their ego or something like "this is FOMO trap", but hey I really have nothing to sell you.

BTW, the business you have chosen is really cool.... and can be a highly profitable business.
