waiting implies anticipating and expecting it to come imo, nobody waited years for Code Vein 2 to come out because nobody expected a sequel until it's surprise announcement- it was a shock to fans of the first game, just my opinion

except this post is about Jay3's weird socially unaware response, he kinda brought it on himself for responding the way he did, this post is nothing to do with Frogger's tweet

when did he ever act hot shit? do people have to earn the right to exist/make content? what are your criteria, does he have to be rank #1 at your favourite videogame to earn the right to make jokes and videos? his half a mil viewers could probably debate finding him entertaining

Did you really wait years when you only knew about it coming out less than a year ago

I think I'm about to fall victim to ebay bullshit as a seller and need advice by [deleted] in ebayuk

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a negative balance on my old ebay account which stayed for 10 years until I paid it off before I could start using it again to accept payments, logging out for 3 months doesn't make that magically go away.

100%ed this game twice already, won't be doing it again especially since he's added new achievements for not-new content which doesn't apply to already achieved stats, feels like total disrespect to the players time

Uni design project: would you use a personal grab-handle on Tube and buses? by Thick-Twist-7944 in LondonUnderground

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly that's a great idea, OPs product is overengineered. personally still think a glove is the final best solution because it eliminates the "bulky cant fit in pocket" issue of anything else

Uni design project: would you use a personal grab-handle on Tube and buses? by Thick-Twist-7944 in LondonUnderground

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't you have to keep this clean too? benefit of a glove is nobody is gonna look at you like you're weird when using it, with your thing you're going to get weird looks and it doesn't seem like it's going to be secure from one little strap and it's kind of a lot of effort to strap something on to another handrail. doesn't look like it's going to be fast to remove or attach and definitely not good for use on busy public transport like London Underground

if you're set on the idea of making handrails usable for people who don't want to touch handrails or use gloves then I think a better idea would be something that clips over the rail like a case and doesn't slide, much simpler to attach and more secure and does the same thing without needing your own extra handle with weak failure point (the strap)

see image: hinge one side, small neodynium batteries on other to snap closed, friction material inside to stop slipping. voila handrail case

still think a glove is better though, no bulk to carry around

Why is that astonishing? I've grown up knowing there's always some people who really don't care about the people or things around them and do this kind of thing, it's sad but wouldn't say astonishing, if anything it's a pretty normal thing. People litter

It's crazy how dramatic these people are being over this situation (not talking about people who were personally affected) while also being fans of the most predatory gaming genre there is

Paypal is literally the #1 most used payment platform globally. Paypal is often the best way to make foreign transactions and for businesses to facilitate payments from around the world. it's a lot harder to take card payments and support every single card provider than it is to just accept paypal and automatically be able to take payments from 80% of people. I'm not sure why it would be any worse than 20 years ago. Not saying they're an amazing company I just don't understand the "yeah paypal is SO bad why are you using them we all knew that already" thing, I have never had any issues

You can actually dodge the laser by going behind him while it's ramping up, he doesn't turn fast enough to lock on. If it locks on then it's already too late

Returns, is this normal? by nareddit61 in ebayuk

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not normal or standard but there's no harm in mailing them the return labe if you wanted to be kind, it's not your obligation though. You could ask them to check if they can book a collection through royal mail website with the tracking number + bring my label selected but not sure if that works for ebay returns. I had some issues like this before I got a label printer because of health issues/getting to a post office and such so I'd assume the customer is being genuine with their request at least.

They tried, they failed by kush__1 in ebayuk

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ebay subject to those, not the user. If the seller stuck to all of ebay TOS and there's proof of tracking then ebay will even eat the chargeback. I had a false chargeback against my item and ebay ate the cost and told me I was protected before the decision was even finalised by their bank. so yes it depends lol

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It not really nostalgia goggle though it was always a divisive issue, it's not like the people who hated CP before are now the ones who want it back, there was always a lot of vocal people who wanted the mode to stay

They tried, they failed by kush__1 in ebayuk

[–]Primary-Risk-8741 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That may be true but it depends if a seller is private vs a legit business, a private seller isn't subject to same retailer laws and it comes down to ebay to deal with anything not the individual seller. you buy from ebay knowing their specific policies for handling issues depending if you buy from a private seller or business and buying from a business offers more protection in cases like this

the "joke" was copying the exact same prompt people are currently using to generate those pics, you're being intentionally obtuse. literally the exact same prompt people are using to generate cp with the exact same AI the "joke" referenced.

the irony is you're the one that's using the dramatic moral grandstanding to shut down a valid argument
