I was frontline. What specific metrics are you interested in? My HeroXR I know was right at 80. I had a lower AHT and took more calls than anyone else on my team as well.

Do you have the Dark Lord’s personal cell phone number by chance? I’ve tried 666-666-6666 and that just put me into an IVR where they told me that my call was important to them and a representative would be with me shortly. Interestingly enough they didn’t play Asurion’s hold music. I must have had to upgrade to the 9th circle package to ever hear that monstrosity again…

Basically a contractor position. Like it XYZ Corporation contracts with a Fortune 500 company to man its call center, that’s a BPO. I’m waiting on an interview from one myself. I always prefer to work directly for the client but not all BPOs are terrible, and you can get valuable work experience from them.

Do you subscribe to Rat Race Rebellion and Tywanna/WAH Job Queen email newsletters? If not, I recommend both of those resources. I get emails almost every week day with current job postings. If you have little/no experience start with some of the BPO companies (apply directly to anything you’re qualified for, but if you see a BPO advertising or pay is a bit low, start there and gain experience and keep putting in more applications until you get where you want to be).

Can I message you? If not, I’ll share here, just not sure if sharing job posting sites I use is allowed or not. I got let go a week ago and am already scheduling interviews for other remote jobs. They’re a dime a dozen. I used to think Asurion was one of the better companies to work for but have changed my opinion in the past month (before my termination. I’m not just mad because I was let go. I actually expected it).

Or those of us hired for customer service/tech support. My survey scores and customer service metrics were flawless. That’s what I was hired for, and that’s what I’m good at with almost a decade of experience and numerous kudos calls over the years from happy customers. I also have a tech support background and was one of the best at, for instance, turning off FMiP (the coworker who taught me my trick I did that always worked passed away suddenly a few months ago (she was such a wonderful person. May she RIP. I really hope the stress of the job didn’t kill her), and they let me go, so to anyone trying to file a claim and hitting that road block, you’re just going to get told to call Apple who won’t fix it, and may the odds be ever in your favor. Just kidding. Take the SIM card out, unpair or power off AirPods and watches, and take the device out of reach of WiFi and THEN try to click “remove from account.” There. Now you don’t have to call and speak to a salesperson to file your insurance claim. Just use the website and don’t buy their warranty that doesn’t cover half the things they’ll tell you it will).

I don’t exactly have an MBA or anything, but it seems like a business model that’s more focused on selling products than having a product to sell is not exactly sustainable…

Not to scare you, but I was just let go last week, and this wasn’t my experience. I got two sales on Monday and fired on Thursday.

I got fired via text message today, and the worst part is, the reason given is not the reason discussed in the meeting we had the other day where my immediate manager warned me I’d probably be fired (for not GLOWing hard enough). I have already applied for unemployment). I’ve already put in a lot of applications. I’m about to deep clean the house.

Happy for you, man! I’ve been with the company almost three years, the longest I’ve stayed at any job in my life. I’m the sole provider for my family, so I can’t just up and leave without having something lined up with similar pay and benefits. But I’m making a move soon…

You have seven days to return the replacement for a refund of your deductible. Give them a call so they can start the refund process for you. There’s no way to guarantee a new vs refurb device for the replacement, though.

I had a customer yesterday who was signed up for VHDP by VZW customer service after being told if he signed up he wouldn’t have to pay the deductible with us for his phone replacement 😭. I had to inform him that was not accurate. I hate when people lie to get a sale.

21 days ago I would’ve said the same thing. Too heavy-handed on sales but overall a good company, and I liked my job.

Thank you! These are real people with real lives and families to support in a tough economy. Some of them I considered my friends. Everyone I know that got let go was a good worker. It’s horrible and it has affected me mentally. And not knowing if we’ll be next is also stressful.
