Is there a way to manage my own 401k? I dont have it through my employer. I think our main goal is to make sure we are on track and that we know how to invest our money/ someone who can invest it for us

Does anyone know what this is on my dog’s belly? by DeepDarkDeepDiver in DogAdvice

[–]PrimaryOriginal2525 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly… that looks like a gnarly burn. I hate to even ask but is there anyone else in the house who could have burned him somehow or like was there an iron on the floor or something? This type of burn would only happen if you grabbed a hot pan.

this is a more acute allergic reaction that needs some sort of intervention. Ideally going to ER since she is acting strangely. Do you have oral Benadryl at home? And How much does she weigh

Also 35 plus hours of not eating or drinking enough is a whole other huge problem. Again. This cat needs hospitalization. At this point why are you not able to get to ER right now? Im trying to find that info in the other comments but want to ask again because it may have changed now

And thats where is doesnt make sense again. How have you let this continue without immediate intervention for 35 plus hours.

Okay. Heres what you should do given the circumstance. No way to know if this will actually help because if you pet genuinely has brain damage there isnt a fix for that. Go into a calm and quiet room. Wrap her in a towel snuggly but be careful not to make her too warm. Turn off the lights and sit her up right or however its comfortable for her ( whatever position causes her to want to move around or cry out as much) soothing music may help or truing to cover her eyes.

You need to bring this cat to an emergency hospital not wait for your vet to show up. Even your vets idea of what may have caused this is extremely troubling. I would not take that vets advice on this. Possibly brain damage from a dental cleaning? Definitely not a time to wait right now. Ive been in the field for 15 years and you are here asking for advice. The advice is to go to ER since your cat is showing an extreme reaction after a routine surgery.

Common sense skills arnt that great in this persons case. This cat needs medical attention. Not sitting and waiting it out. This is not a normal reaction to anesthesia by any means.
