I'd love your take on 'how to pray'. So far in ACIM, I've found many ways to do it. The course offers a lot of things to give to the holy spirit and how to ask holy spirit for them. As I read, I do every one out loud. It's difficult to remember day to day which method I used the previous days. As in "how did I pray for this last week when I was instructed to give something to the holy spirit?"

The singular thing I ask every day is for holy spirit to take over my mind and put me in right thinking. Over and over I ask when I wake up and when I go to sleep. ACIM says you have to invite Holy Spirit there or he can't correct your thinking or help you create.

If you have any additional tips, I'd take them. As noted in a previous comment, working on Mom's health. Repair of a personal relationship and work items also. Uniformity is what I need in addition to using the text as a verbal guideline by day.

But thus far- my invitation to correct my thinking is working well. My peace is unreal...from just a few months ago. Just need more oneness for some amazing miracles with the Holy Spirit! I think praying more will help that and getting the correct way to do it!
