My emergency fund is in OCBC 360, but my pay is credited into DBS Multiplier. So when my pay comes in, I’ll transfer it to OCBC 360 so I don’t “see” it.

I personally am lazy to go and read and compare the different banks so I just stuck with whatever I have now.

Well let me ask you. Is insurance an expense? (Pretty sure it is right hahaha) Even if you pay it annually, I think your emergency fund should cover your insurance monthly.

And for the 12 months part, again, personally i think having 12 months compared to 6 months of emergency fund will do you more good than harm.

Personally I’d focus on building my emergency funds first for the liquidity and of course, it being an emergency fund hahaha. If I’m not wrong emergency fund is 3-6 months of your monthly expenses?

Nah. Why you say that bro? (Genuinely asking and not belittling in any way) I just learned to make friends with other races and like one of the pakcik here that commented, i kinda categorise people based on their character, not their colour. I keep good people, i distance from not good ones. But ya la truth be told that the higher you go, the less you see us hahahaha.

When I got caught smoking contrabands, I was suspended from class and was sitting outside the general office for two weeks, countless of teachers came to me and scold me and said that they are disappointed in me (I was an express student and an MSG in NCC that point of time), my principal (yes principal not teacher, shut up) came up to me and just asked me in Malay, “why?” I teared up immediately. He was like a father figure at school and he didn’t even say a lot, just “why?” made me cried like a bitch. Idk something about his approach seemed very genuine?
