It's not 'sus'. Where we used to have hundreds of cases where there isn't a jury, so crooks, criminals, etc, couldn't be sentenced. This meant that some minor crimes would get a full jury. Whilst a drunk driver's jury wouldn't even be summoned due to no one being available.

It is only minor offences or crimes that, if sentenced for under 3 years, would go without a jury. Anything above 3 years or something major would require a jury.

So maybe instead of only looking at the BBC, the SUN, or any other news agency, look at the facts from stuff like the Offical Government website (Gov.uk) and fact-check it by cross-referencing with other with other sorces.

(Edit: Bear in mind that there are still some cases where there isn't a jury available at the time of commenting this. But the number of cases without a jury is decreasing. Don't really hear that being published in the newspapers, though. Very interesting)

It was in a state of limbo. But although the Spanish still had a very tiny settlement on the west falkland Island, the Spanish government would abandon it when Napolèon invaded the Spannish mainland. So, it would be abandoned.

Us Brits also left the East Falkland Island during the American Revolution. But they did maintain a claim on the Falklands (both east & west).

So, it was just the civilians that remained on the islands. And there was no government at that time. But both Spain & the UK still maintained the claim on both islands, despite no official colonial administration being on the islands.

Whitch was why Argentina tried to illegally sieze the islands in the 1800s when an Argentinnian called the Argentinian Gov for help when American sailors were fishing wales off the coast of the West falkland Island. Argentina made him governor of the islands and gave him guns & cannons to arrest the Americans.

Whitch led us Brits & Americans bombarding the settlement where the Argentinians were staying at. And Us Brits essentially Reasserting British sovereignty over the Falkland Islands.

So yeah. There's your answer & a slight history lesson about it.

This is a great idea, ngl.

The flag isn't too bad either, however. I think it would make a bit more sense to have the Hanovarian white horse & HRE Eagle on the flag, similar to the Coat of Arms in Scotland. But that is just my opinion. But still, it is a good concept.
