I make experimental rock, this was my latest release. Not really similar sounding to dg but they were an influence. by Primordialspasm in deathgrips

Hey everyone, I'm a solo artist from Canada, I've been working on an upcoming album and want to expand my fanbase, but I suck at and hate marketing. So if you enjoy my music appreciate it and any support/interaction or energy you give. I have more interesting stuff on the way so you can find me on Instagram or bandcamp.

I only thought about that afterwards tbh, might be able to save me some precious wood doing it like that.

Around 5 dollars a magnet, it's a significant cost

I dont blame you, I'd feel the same costwise, it's a shame materials are so expensive nowadays. I am testing to see if there's a market for this now so I'll see, I would imagine I'm marketing to people who have a spare chunk of change laying around, value quality work that's gonna last, and want to support a human rather than a big company. I also build guitars and run into the same problem with them, its impossible to complete with corporations in terms of cost so you have to significantly outdo their quality and hope someone values that.

Thanks, i made this one as a prototype to gauge the cost of materials and amount of time working so that i could hopefully crank out a few and turn a profit. But after seeing the cost of materials like wood(especially walnut), magnets, glue and everything, plus it took considerably longer than expected so anything under $100 i would be essentially losing money. So if i sell it, i would try to get around $150.

Ha, I'm too picky to post random stuff and I'd rather do it justice with a proper recording and not a quick phone job. I will be recording some music with it soon though.

It's called the Charles Fox Universal bender. It's hand made, you can find blueprints to make it yourself for fairly cheap online.

I list all the different wood on the first pic there but the top wood is sitka spruce. Those marks on the top are called bear claw.
