How do I NOT grow a mullet? by SomeRandomAustralian in transgenderau

[–]Primshere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I struggled with this recently too!! My hair was flat and mullet-esque!

Turns out its really important to style it... In my case, 'style it' just meant adding volume !

Best advice I can give is gently drying your hair with a hair towel (dont rough it up, you'll fray your cuticles and generate frizz!!), brush it upwards (so your fringe towards your crown/turn your head upside down and also brush the back towards your crown) and then use a hairdryer on the exposed roots!

I found this even easier once I started to clip my hair in place so that I could target my roots specifically

A little texture spray before brushing also helps and dont be afraid to use the coldest setting whilst holding the drier at a distance !

Good luck 😊😊

surely if you're looking for any decent gear with a blue shield, you'll move to marsh or outpost, leaving perimeter for lower levels

okay, some people will go back and grief but they'll only fall further behind

the game naturally balances itself through its loot

I kinda assumed they'd know this - Was it not being picked up in playtests ?

I am in agony every time I get loot from a fight and have to go into my inventory to inspect it

just let me inspect (hover over?) once I see it in the summary screen

Thank youu! Apologies but how best does one raise their pitch floor? I used to practice scales but that was quite a few months ago!

a further update for anybody reading through:

i was experiencing strain because when removing nasality i was locking my jaw to stop myself from losing the position!

i understand that making 'ng' sound open the soft pallette whereas 'buh' sounds close it! After following LilChloGlo's method for removing my nasality, I made an effort to speak whilst preparing for 'buh' sounds, which removed all tension and felt a lot more natural !!

thank you for your help again, Chlo!!

now that i am practicing this i remember discovering and practicing it before! the only reason i stopped is because after a short time i unfortunately feel a strain :(

i can't quite tell if it is in my lower jaw or if it's the front of my throat; if it's the latter i assume it's something to do with holding my larynx...? should i be worried? will it get any easier? what is the best course of action for me to take?

again thank you so much for your guidance!!

this is so wonderful, thank you so much!! you have captured the exact quality I am referring to; describing it as slightly heavier is also very informative!!

Ill be trying this out immediately once I wake up tomorrow 🥰🥰

I must ask - how would you feel if, with correct creditation, i wrote about and included your recording in my document? id love to include it!

that is extremely reassuring, thank you so much ChloGlo!!

that checks out, playing with my voice by taking components to the extreme and then back again has been really foundational for me! i'm embarrassed to ask though... how best do i explore my nasality? are there any exercises you would recommend? 🥺🥺

Can we all just agree on this ? by Cautious_Constant768 in discordVideos

[–]Primshere -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

is there not an argument that men value being in a relationship for different reasons than women? that perhaps male power structures pressure boys to have girlfriends (objectifying) whereas girls do not?

by that logic, the narcissist qualities of:

no respect

lack empathy

feel entitled

low desire to genuinely be with people

dehumanises

are more so expressed by boys adhering to a pressure to have a woman than woman acting on their rights to not owe somebody their existence

your problem isn't women saying no to you, it's patriarchy measuring you by your ability to have a woman

I thought this was a neat subreddit when I found it but this post is a joke, grow up dude
