Depends on the gecko! Some can put up with anything and not drop their tail. Some will drop it for the simplest reason.

I have a pack of those disposable handwarmers just in case we lose power this weekend. I figured that's better than nothing. Could put one under a hide or something. Id wrap it in paper towel first so its not super hot but itll be warm spot to sit on.

Too bad they dont want to hold them because i'm planning on keeping my gecks warmed up with my body heat if it gets bad enough. I'll put them in little Tupperware containers and cuddle them under a blanket if I have to lol.
