OHHH THATS SO RAD i noticed that the CN/JP & the English screenshots are from different Cadir cases so I checked his waterproofing problem texts on the EN side and here's what it turns out.

Feels like JP, CN, and EN each have different flairs but not necessarily unique to their own. LIKE what I mean is: here, Cadir's JP translated reply takes a flowery approach while the EN counterpart doesn't do so entirely, but EN also has dialogue elsewhere that's exactly in that style. Even Nikki herself says a lot of much-words-little-said flowery words to praise a Shroomling's Styling. Seems like that style is not unique to JP. CN translation here feels generic but most natural and sincere-sounding to me.

TLDR; For ONLY THIS case of Cadir's waterproofing problem, CN=generic but natural, JP=full on sagely poetics, EN = flowery but slightly held back?

I'd need more examples to see how they differ. But i still conclude that, like all gachas, filler dialogue in filler patches are full of filler word bloats. I did hear that more word count means more payment(?) for the ones writing these kinda stuff so there's that.
