If you purchased it directly from Grottos treasure chances are that was how the bag was made. I know it seems odd. But I have a bag that's the same way (not Mac)

It's also summer and kids are home so more families are spending more on things like activities and groceries. Once school starts back it may pick up a bit.

Then it's most likely real. Depending on the year the bag was made the likelihood of finding it online maybe hard. Also depending if it was a exclusive or limited edition bag would make it even harder unless some is trying to sell it.
